Due to its universal theme, the results of the DressID project will raise the interest of the public and media all across Europe. A series of exhibitions, based on a dynamic concept, will present the ongoing research. Rather than a package of finished results, the research-based and developing exhibitions actively involve the European public in the process of acquiring knowledge. The task of study group 5 is therefore a threefold one:

1) to develop the exhibition’s basic concept;

2) to update the exhibition continually; and

3) to carry out editorial work on the accompanying catalogue.

Authors of the catalogue will be participants in the project, along with specialists of those museums who are not directly involved, but who will elaborate the presentation. The first exhibition will be opened in Mannheim in March 2012.
